Energy Medicine Workshop - "Nustas Karpay"

in The Blue Mountain Hall in Oldedalen, Vestlandet, Norway

For the seventh time we return to magical Oldedalen to give shamanic workshops (and a Cong Course this time!) in the beautiful Blue Mountain Hall where we are surrounded by the deeply healing and powerful mountains, beautiful waterfalls and ice glaciers that carry memories since the beginning of time. This time we will give two shamanic workshops. The first one is "Nustas Karpay". We are hosted by our dear friends Johanne and Frank who run Blue Mountain Yoga.

"Nustas Karpay" are seven rites/energy transmissions that have been brought to the western world by the shamans of the Q'ero indians in Peru, descendants of the Inkas. "Nustas" is the collective name of the princesses/goddesses that are bearers of the original life force and give birth to life softly and beautifully. "Karpay means "rite/initiation".

The Nustas Karpay rites help you walk here on earth softly and beautifully, following the rhythms and cycles in nature and in yourself, your inner nature. They help you in opening up your heart, seeing the beauty in yourself and in everyone and everything around you. They help you love every part of yourself to be able to love everybody and all that surrounds you. They help you find your unique vibration of the original source of love and let it spread out in the world.

During our days together you will get to know these seven energy frequencies in different ways. We will give you the rites through guided Gong Meditations, Qi Gong movements, Crystal Sound Meditations and beautiful ceremonies in the magical nature of Oldedalen among waterfalls and high mountains. The tones of the Gongs and Crystal instruments enter on cellular level and help clear away possible blockings, they create balance and harmony and transfer the energy frequencies to you. The Qigong helps you to open up your heart and feel the oneness with the different elements in nature and the whole universe. It consists of soft, beautiful, slow and powerful movements made with a specific concentration for each movement. We practice to the tones of Gongs and Crystal instruments which deepen and strengthen the energetic processes.

We will do the energy work both indoors in the beautiful nature shala and outdoors, walking in ceremony to different power places by the Melkevoll Ice Glacier, the mountains and the waterfalls doing meditations/initiations.

As you get better acquainted with each Nustas frequency you will meet and get to know different parts of yourself. We will guide you and support you in the process in different ways - by talking and giving individual healing to make your journey soft and smooth.

We will also tell you about how the Q'eros describe each Nustas frequency and we will share our own perception of the princesses. We will talk about how the Nustas can help you and guide you in your life here on earth and how you can deepen your own connection with each Nustas frequency when you get home.

Moreover, we give you an introduction to shamanism in general; what it means to live your life as a shaman here on earth, spreading your love and wisdom.

Where is it, and what about accomodation and meals?

This workshop is held in the Blue Mountain Hall at Melkevoll Bretun in Oldedalen, near Stryn in West Norway. All the cabins at Melkevoll Bretun have a fully equipped kitchen and fridge.

If you choose to camp instead, we have a shared kitchen, café and the necessary facilities available for your meals.

The last store is in Olden where you can buy groceries before entering the valley Oldedalen.

3 hot vegetarian dinners are included. Frank's lovingly prepared food is pure delight for the eye and your tummy! You make your own breakfasts and lunches! Prepare for packed lunches to bring on our walks in nature (if the weather allows it) or to eat in the cafeteria (on the last day).

What do I need to bring?

Bring good, loose clothing for practice/gong/meditation sessions, as well as whatever you need for taking sauna/ice bath and clothes to shift. Also bring warm clothes/jackets/walking boots for the walks outside in nature to the glaciers. Be prepared for all kinds of weather; wind, rain, sun! Bring the extra food/drink and snack you'll need. Notebook and pen if you like. If you want to bring your own yoga mat you are welcome to do that, but we also have plenty in the Blue Mountain Hall.

HOW TO TRAVEL TO BLUE MOUNTAIN YOGA & MELKEVOLL BRETUN/OLDEDALEN

Car

The easiest way to come here by car: You head for Stryn, and then onwards to Loen, Olden and then to Oldedalen and the Briksdal glacier. If you come from Førde, you take the road to Skei, Byrkjelo and then Olden and Oldedalen.

Bus

You can take a bus to Stryn or Olden. There are daily night and day buses from Oslo and Bergen. It takes about 7 hours from Oslo and five from Bergen. You can check the time tables at https://www.vy.no. From Stryn or Olden you have to arrange transport by bus or taxi. There are local buses (from Stryn/olden to Briksdal/Melkevoll Bretun). Check at https://www.skyss.no

It is possible to coordinate taxi rides (pick-up and drop-off on the date of arrival and the date of leaving) for several people if necessary. Contact Maria if you wish to go by taxi!

Plane

The nearest airports are Anda Lufthavn at Sandane and Hovden Airpor in Ørsta. These are about 1,5 hours away from Melkevoll Bretun by car. From here one must arrange transport oneself.

Course in Gong playing with Bjørn Løken

for both beginners and experienced gong players

For beginners and experienced gong players - come, learn and be inspired by Bjørn Løken’s way of treating the gong as a living being, a co-creator and co-healer. Learn how to play in a way that brings out the best healing qualities in the gong!

The gong has been used for many thousands of years to heal a number of illnesses in people and animals. In order to give the gong a chance to do its best as a healer together with you, you need to master different kinds of strokes, dynamics and rhythmics. In this course you learn about/deepen your knowledge of different playing techniques. You also learn to/expand your ability to use musical effects in the gong playing in order to affect and balance body, mind and soul.

When you master different techniques, use your musicality when you play, put yourself in neutral mind and set a clear intention – you and the gong become one and you can accomplish the most amazing things together! When the technique is there, you can follow your intuition when you play without having to think of HOW you play. Many people say “I don’t need to know about techniques, I just play intuitively” but the lack of techniques will limit the way you can express your intuition. You also miss the aspect of bringing out the best healing qualities of the gong to let it do its very utmost as a healer.

In this course Bjørn also talks about and shows how to combine different kinds of gongs and how to combine the gong(s) with crystal instruments. He also talks about and illustrates briefly how you can use the Gong in Yoga or Qi Gong exercises and other forms for movement therapy.

The course includes both theory and practice. You will practice different playing techniques and get feedback from Bjørn and listen to the others when they play and learn through that. Bjørn will give a couple of Gongbaths as well, one when you can sit and watch and one when you can lie down if you wish and drift far away and let the frequencies balance you.

At the end of the course you will create a short Gongbath yourself and get constructive feedback from Bjørn and your course mates.

It feels like a blessing to be able to give the Pleiades Workshop in the Blue Mountain Hall in magical Oldedalen again. Embedded by the deeply healing and powerful mountains, beautiful waterfalls and ice glaciers we will reawaken your connection with your origin in the stars by journeying to the star constellation the Pleiades through the deeply healing tones of Gongs and crystal instruments and Qi Gong.

According to the Q'ero shamans in Peru (the Q'eros are descendants of the Inkas), we human beings come from the Pleiades. The nine main stars in the Pleiades are the mother and the father and the seven sisters who show us how to walk here on earth as beings of pure love and light, sharing our gifts in co-creation, joy and play.

In this deeply healing workshop we transmit the main nine energy frequencies from the Pleiades to you in our way through the deeply healing tones of Gongs and Crystal instruments in guided meditations and Qi Gong initiations downloaded from each star. The tones enter on cellular level, clear away energetic blockings and create balance and harmony so that you can receive and integrate the frequencies of the Pleiades more fully. The Qi Gong initiations also assist in the integration of the energy frequencies in your body and soul.

Evening Event: Soul Journey Qigong 1 and Gong Meditation at Løken Gård, Fetsund, and online live, 19.00-20.30

Warmly welcome to join us either at Løken Gård or online, live, to share an evening of deep stillness and healing of yourself and the earth. An evening when you let go of energies that hold you back and let yourself be filled with the original light of love - Munay.

Together we will practice Soul Journey Qigong 1 - The Initiation of the Heart to the healing tones of gongs and crystal instruments. This will be followed by a guided Gong Meditation when you can let yourself journey with the deeply balancing tones and vibrations from gongs, crystal singing bowls and crystal pyramids.

No previous expericence with qigong or meditation is needed!

What is qigong? "Qi" means "life energy" and "gong" means "method". Qigong originates from China and can be described as a meditation in movement. For thousands of years it has been practiced by the Chinese to create balance between body, mind and soul and thereby stay in good health. There are numerous different kinds of qigong. Soul Journey Qi Gong is a unique form created by Maria Løken - a blend of old eastern philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and ancient shamanic wisdom. It consists of series of soft, slow, beautiful, simple and powerful movements made with a specific concentration for each movement.

By practicing Soul Journey Qi Gong you stimulate the circulation of "qi", blood and lymph in your body. You fill every cell in your body with fresh oxygen and you stimulate all your inner organs.

On a soul level, practicing Soul Journey Qigong can help you open up your heart and feel the oneness with nature and the universe. Feel the oneness with every part of creation. You can find your own light, your unique vibration of the original source of love.

The effect of the qigong practice is deepened and strengthened by the healing tones from gongs and crystal instruments played by Bjørn.

The qigong session will be followed by a deeply healing Gong Meditation during which you can let go of heavy energies that do not serve you anymore and bring in the original light of love from heaven and earth.
