The Way of the Shaman

Deepening Course 1

This course is the first one of five for you who have already done two rounds in our Medicine Wheel, The Circle of Light, and now wish to deepen your own soul journey and learn more about how to use the healing techniques of the Q'ero Shamans in the Andes with clients or on yourself. To open up your intuition more and more. To remember more of your origin in the stars and your soul's mission in this lifetime. To awaken the shaman within you and start walking the shamanic path in a deeper sense.

In this first course, the main themes will be Soul Retrieval and Illumination, individual shadow work and working with different techniques to open up your intuition more.

Fetsund is situated 30 kilometers east of Oslo. You take the train from Oslo S to Lillestrøm and Bus 480 or 490 from Lillestrøm Bus Station to bus stop "Løken" in Fetsund. The bus stop is right next to the farm.

DATES AND TIME: 5-8 February. We start at 10 on Thursday and finish at 15 on Sunday. There will be evening work during the course.

Starting date for a Weekly Course in Soul Journey Qigong 2 - The Initiation of the Third Eye, 8 Mondays 18.30-20.15 at Løken Gård, Fetsund, Norway AND online, live!

Soul Journey Qigong 2 - The Initiation of the Third Eye is a beautiful and powerful qigong method that helps you open up your intuition, your holy vision. You can begin to feel, see, hear, smell, taste or simply know what is beyond the visible world. You can step out of time and perceive the universal wisdom that is there to guide you in every moment, in every step you take in life - the original source of love that sends us messages through nature and the universe, through light beings and nature beings, through our everyday encounters with people and situations. The wisdom that is pure love and that opens up all our senses for the magic and wonder of life if only we are willing to receive. The wisdom that helps us evolve as human beings and become the Homo Luminous.

Soul Journey Qigong 2 consists of series of simple, soft, slow, beautiful and powerful movements made with a specific concentration for each movement.

The course contains a mixture of theory and practice. Sometimes we practice in silence and sometimes we practice to the healing tones from Gongs and Crystal Instruments that strengthen and deepen the effect of the qigong. Every session is ended with a Guided Gong- and Crystal Sound Meditation either with Maria or with Bjørn and Maria together. The tones help clear away energetic blockings that hold you back from being fully connected with yourself and the Source of life. They help you open up, be filled with the original light of love and start following your intuition.

Like Soul Journey Qigong 1, Soul Journey Qigong 2 is also a blend of ancient shamanic wisdom (mainly from the Q'ero shamans in the Andes, descendants of the Incas), old eastern philosophy and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

When you attend the course in Soul Journey Qigong 2 you will get a sound- and videofile recorded high up in the mountains in the heart of Gran Canaria in which Maria shows the whole method and gives spoken instructions accompanied by Bjørn's playing on gongs and crystal instruments. The idea is for you to be able to continue practicing the method on your own at home.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE

LEADER: Maria Løken. Maria is the creator of Soul Journey Qi Gong 1-3, a Certified Instructor of Medical Qi Gong according to the Biyun method, a shaman and a sound healer.

CO-CREATOR: Bjørn Løken, who will be joining us on some of the occasions. Bjørn is a professional musician, a Professor Emeritus of Percussion at the Norwegian Academy of Music, a shaman, a sound healer and a Certified Kundalini Yoga teacher.

THURSDAY 26 FEBRUARY

Evening Event: Soul Journey Qigong 1 and Gong Meditation at Løken Gård, Fetsund, and online live, 19.00-20.30

Warmly welcome to join us either at Løken Gård or online, live, to share an evening of deep stillness and healing of yourself and the earth. An evening when you let go of energies that hold you back and let yourself be filled with the original light of love - Munay.

Together we will practice Soul Journey Qigong 1 - The Initiation of the Heart to the healing tones of gongs and crystal instruments. This will be followed by a guided Gong Meditation when you can let yourself journey with the deeply balancing tones and vibrations from gongs, crystal singing bowls and crystal pyramids.

No previous expericence with qigong or meditation is needed!

What is qigong? "Qi" means "life energy" and "gong" means "method". Qigong originates from China and can be described as a meditation in movement. For thousands of years it has been practiced by the Chinese to create balance between body, mind and soul and thereby stay in good health. There are numerous different kinds of qigong. Soul Journey Qi Gong is a unique form created by Maria Løken - a blend of old eastern philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and ancient shamanic wisdom. It consists of series of soft, slow, beautiful, simple and powerful movements made with a specific concentration for each movement.

By practicing Soul Journey Qi Gong you stimulate the circulation of "qi", blood and lymph in your body. You fill every cell in your body with fresh oxygen and you stimulate all your inner organs.

On a soul level, practicing Soul Journey Qigong can help you open up your heart and feel the oneness with nature and the universe. Feel the oneness with every part of creation. You can find your own light, your unique vibration of the original source of love.

The effect of the qigong practice is deepened and strengthened by the healing tones from gongs and crystal instruments played by Bjørn.

The qigong session will be followed by a deeply healing Gong Meditation during which you can let go of heavy energies that do not serve you anymore and bring in the original light of love from heaven and earth. The tones and frequences enter on cellular level in your body, help you open up and release blockings and tensions.
