About Maria
I am Maria Løken. I am walking the path that I came here to walk, shining my light, my unique vibration of the original light of love. It took me some time in this life to come to this point. After many years of problems with severe allergies and eczema, stress, back problems and stomach problems, my life changed completely, both physically and on a soul level, through Medical Qi Gong and Shamanism.
Apart from helping me to heal my physical ailments, the Qi Gong has opened up many doors for me. It has helped me release spiritual gifts that I did not know that I had, gifts that we are all born with but that we shut out growing up. The Qi Gong has also woken up ancient wisdom within me about the healing power of sound. Music has always been very important to me. I have played classical piano and guitar and sung all my life but I never composed any music of my own. After a few months of Qi Gong practice I was suddenly drawn to the piano one day after a long period of not playing at all. A beautiful piece of music just appeared through my fingers when I sat down playing and since then many new pieces have come. In that period of my life I was also introduced to and learned a lot about the healing power of vocal toning and metal singing bowls through Marie Bergman.
Through many years of shamanic energy work (starting in 2014), I have deepened the understanding of myself, who I am, where I come from, and what I am here to do in this life, what gifts I have come here to explore. Through my twin soul and husband Bjørn, whom I met in 2014, I have deepened the musical way of my path as a shaman and healer. He introduced me to crystal singing bowls and crystal pyramids and has taught me a lot about how to play gongs therapeutically.
To love myself fully and to love everything and everyone around me, to be whole both physically and on a soul level, to enjoy life - that's what life is about to me and I am so happy and grateful to myself that I allow myself to experience that! I am also very happy to share tools that can help you find your way in life. One of the tools is Qi Gong. After having practiced and taught Medical Qi Gong according to the Biyun method for five years, I passed on to sharing my own Qi Gong method, Soul Journey Qi Gong, in co-creation with my husband, Bjørn, who accompanies me on the gongs and crystal instruments. Soul Journey Qi Gong is a method that has come to me intuitively. It is a deeply healing qigong method that blends ancient shamanism with Traditional Chinese Medicine and old eastern philosophy.
Another way for me to share my gifts and walk beside you for a bit on your path is through the shamanic healing sessions that I give in our beautiful nature room in the garden at Løken Gård - Sound-Aroma Healing, Toning Sessions, Picaflor Healing Massage and Energy Transmissions. I also give Distant Healing Sessions, Distant Energy Transmissions and individual Qi Gong Sessions both at Løken Gård and online, live.
Yet another way of sharing my gifts is through giving Shamanic workshops. Bjørn and I give our version of the Shamanic Medicine Wheel - "The Circle of Light" - and three different 3-day workshops, "Nustas Karpay", "Munay-Ki" and "The Pleiades".

Educated in different forms of Medical Qi Gong according to the Biyun method at the Biyun Academy in Stockholm, Oslo and on Hainan, China, 2012-2014: Jichu Gong (step 1), Dong Gong (step 2), Five Elements' Qi Gong (step 3), Wai Qi A (step 4), Wai Qi B, Dolphin Power Qi Gong, Children's Qi Gong, Peace Power Qi Gong, Senior Qi Gong and Rejuvenation Qi Gong. Most of the courses were taken with the founder of the Biyun method, Fan Xiulan, doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Qi Gong Master.
Certified instructor of different forms of Medical Qi Gong according to the Biyun Method: Jichu Gong, Dong Gong, Dolphin Power Qi Gong, Children's Qi Gong, Peace Power Qi Gong, Senior Qi Gong and Rejuvenation Qi Gong. I took the education at the Biyun Academy in Stockholm and in Örbyhus, 2013-2014. The education is approved by the Education Department of the Chinese Academic Society of Medical Qi Gong.
Educated in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Biyun Academy in Stockholm, as part of my training to become an instructor of Medical Qi Gong, 2012-2014: Basic Course in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Food as Medicine, Tuina Massage, Comet Stone Massage, Ear Diagnostics and treatment with ear seeds, Tongue Diagnostics.
Educated in Energy Medicine/Shamanism ("Walking the Path of Gratitude" and "The Way of Love") by Marie Ytterman and Bjørn løken in Sweden (Umeå, Väddö, Fårö, Österlen), Norway (Ballangen and Fetsund), Bali, Scotland, France, Iceland and Germany 2014-2015. I then formed part of the course leading team of "Walking the Path of Gratitude" for six years. Now Bjørn and I give our own version of the Shamanic Medicine Wheel, "The Circle of Light" and three other shamanic workshops: Munay-Ki, Nustas Karpay and The Pleiades.
Educated in vocal toning for Marie Bergman in Stockholm in 2012: "The Tone of Life - part 1. Course in the healing and vitalizing power of the voice". I have also taken a number of individual vocal toning sessions with Marie.
Educated in Gong play and sound therapy in Sweden (Umeå and Nyköping), Bali and Norway (Narvik and Fetsund) 2014-2020 for Bjørn Løken who is a musician, a percussion teacher and assisting professor of percussion at the Norwegian Academy of Music, a shaman, and a certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga.
Educated in Raindrop Technique: Course in Raindrop Massage with Annika Lynton, Stockholm, 2013.
Certified in "The Dream of the Good's" methods based on mindfulness, 2014. It consists of four different parts: meditation, massage, qigong and reflective conversations.
Educated in the RGRM-method, step 1 (Ronnie Gardiner Rhytm and Music Method) in 2015.
